Long <br />Division Director <br />The Division renewed a mining and reclamation permit to Somerset Mining <br />Company for the Somerset Mine on October 22, 1993. The operation is an <br />underground coal mine located near the town of Somerset in Delta and Gunnison <br />Counties, Colorado. The coal to be mined is federally and privately owned, <br />and the surface to be affected is federally and privately owned.
