<br />SENECA U-W MINE (PERMIT NO. C-82-057), PERMIT RENEWAL NO. 02
<br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, Paragraph 118, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the Division of Minerals
<br />and Geology hereby issues notice that on July ]0, 1995, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit
<br />to conduct ceal mining operations, Permit No. C-82-057, by Seneca Coal Company, P.O. Drawer D, Hayden,
<br />Colorado 81639, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as
<br />provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting surface coal mining operations at the Seneca II-W Mine,
<br />which is located approximately seven miles south of Hayden, Colorado, and is described as follows:

<br />These tracts of land are shown on the USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle map of Mount Harris.
<br />A wpy of the application is available for public inspection at the Hayden Public Library, 225 East Jefferson
<br />Avenue, Hayden, Colorado. Written comments, objections or requests for an informal conference on the
<br />application may be submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the Division of Minerals and
<br />Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. Written comments,
<br />objections or requests for an informal conference must be filed at the Division by 5:00 p.m. within 30 days
<br />after the last public notice in the local newspaper.
