Walker, Byron
From: Walker, Byron
Sent: Thursday, August 18, 2005 12:22 PM
To: 'Jerry Nettleton'
Subject: RE: Twentymile Coal Company -Foidel Creek Mine (Permit C-82-056), Technical Revision
TR05-49, Clarification of Coal Refuse and Handling Procedures, Extension of Proposed
Decision Date
Jerry, the due date for a proposed decision on TR-49 is extended to September 9th, 2005
per your request. A hard copy letter will back up this notice. Thank you for attending to
this matter. Byron
-----Original Message-----
From: Jerry Nettleton [mailto:JNettleton@peabodyenergy.com]
Sent: Thursday, August 18, 2005 11:10 AM
To: byron.walker@state.co.us
Subject: Twentymile Coal Company - Foidel Creek Mine (Permit C-82-056),
Technical Revision TROS-49, Clarification of Coal Refuse and Handling
Procedures, Extension of Proposed Decision Date
Byron
With this transmittal we are requesting that the proposed decision date for
TROS-99 be extended to September 9th, 2005. As we have discussed, the
bonding calculations provided by Janet Binns do not accurately reflect
on-ground conditions and requirements, and therefore significantly
over-estimate the associated reclamation costs. We are working on
supplemental information detailing specific reclamation requirements and
developing corresponding reclamation cost documentation for the Division's
review and consideration. We appreciate your consideration and patience.
Please feel free to contact me with any related questions -
Best regards,
Jerry
-----------------------------------------
E-mail Disclaimer:
The information contained in this e-mail, and in any accompanying
documents, may constitute confidential and/or legally privileged
information.
