A small portion of oak brush, approximately
0.02 acre or 850 square feet, will be cleared and placed in the Delta County Landfill. The topsoil
will then be salvaged from the foundation area. The quantity of topsoil material is estimated to be
50.0 cubic yards, assuming a 20-inch depth. The small amount of topsoil, approximately five
highway dump truck loads, will be placed on the topsoil pile located on the Lower Refuse Pile.
The material to be placed at the foundation wall is estimated to be 142 cubic yards of 12-inch
plus, D50 sized riprap material. Access to the area will be gained from the lower access road on
the existing roller compacted concrete buttress. The source of the riprap material is from the
material stacked along the east side of the Lower Refuse Pile. The buttress material will lend
additional support to the existing Screening Plant foundation wall.
Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have questions.
Si ly,
~. i~~
my A. arbe
Environmental Coordinator
Enclosure
xc: Norm Every
Phil Schmidt
Kathy Welt
MRNO 116D
