Long <br /> Division Director <br />Re: Nlarr Mine (Permit No. C-80-006) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 18 <br />Relocate Tipple Demolition Debris <br />Dear Mr. Davis: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues no[ice, in accordance with Title 34, Atticle 33, Section 116, Paragraph <br />4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on September 28, 1998, an application to revise coal mining opera ions a[ the Marr <br />Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Kerr Coal Company. All review <br />and comment periods as provided in the Ac[ and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />Kerr Coal Company is proposing to change the disposal location for demolition debris from reclamation of the Kerr «pple. <br />Concret demolition debris will be buried in the sub-grade portion of the crusher building. All other debris will be hauled [o <br />the mine site and buried alon the toe of the shop area pad, and covered. <br />The surface coal mining opera ion is on land located approximately 12 miles eas[ of Walden, Colorado. The permit area is <br />funkier described as follows: <br />TBN, R78W, Portions of Section 2 <br />T9N, R78W, Portions of Sections 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 35 <br />T9N, R79W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 (loadout) <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Walden. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Jackson County Courthouse, Box 337, <br />Walden, CO 80480, and at the Division office. For additional information or [o provide written comments, contact the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567.
