I own a ten acre parcel of
land adjacent to the present gravel pit. This piece of
agricultural land is now listed with a realtor for sale as a
homesite with horse pasture.
I did call your office and although you were unavailable a Mr Jim
Dilly spoke with me and was extremely courteous and helpful. I
also called Pam Acre of Tuttle Applegate Inc. (they sent me the
notice) but she never returned my call.
Right now I have same serious concerns about this application.
1. I have not seen the mining plan nor the reclamation plan.
2. As there is an aquifer at approximately 75 feet on my
property I would like to be reassured that the unlimited permit
request does not adversely affect the wells in the area. I also
have a little spring on my acreage that I am concerned about.
3. Will there be 200 trucks a day? Will there be a huge
excavator?
In closing, I would like to say that at this time I have concerns
and unanswered questions. It is not my intention to prevent
anyone from earning a living but I also do not want my investment
to be adversely affected.
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
V "'~~
Anne D.
