Box 24 <br />Blanca, Colorado 81123 '` <br />RE: Mesita Xill Volcanic Scoria Pit <br />Our file no. 77-227 <br />Dear Mr. Oringdulph: <br />As you are aware, on February 25, 1982, the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />raised the amount of financial warranty on the above captioned operation from <br />$16,700.00 to $37800.00. The official time period within which the required <br />new financial warranty is to be submitted is 60 days. However, considering <br />the fact that the new financial warranty forms were not available when the <br />Board made this decision, I did not get the impression that the Board was <br />concerned that our staff enforce this time limit strictly. This letter <br />should, therefore, be considered a reminder that the new warranty is due and <br />should be submitted to our Division as soon as possible. <br />Our staff has been in contact with Mr. Michael Sullivan of the New Xampshire <br />Insurance Company. We sent him copies of the proper corporate surety and <br />performance warranty farms. As this was done fairly recently, I am sure that <br />the financial warranty is now in process. As you are aware, both of these <br />forms will also have to be signed by you. Therefore, I feel sure that you <br />wilt receive these forms soon. If you have any questions concerning the <br />forms, please do not hesitate to contact our Division. <br />If there is to be some delay in the completion of these forms, please call, <br />and we may be able to offer some assistance in expediting the matter. This <br />will also serve to update our staff on the progress of this matter. <br />Please be advised that I will be on annual leave from April 30th until my re- <br />turn on May 20th.
