III IIIIIIIIIIIII III <br />PROPOSED DECISION <br />The following Notice was initally published in the November 8, 1986 edition of <br />the Denver Post. <br />Pursuant to the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board published August, 1980 and pursuant to the Colorado Surface Coal Mining <br />Reclamation Act 34-33-101 et sig., the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division proposes to approve with stipulations an application for a permit <br />revision to Permit No. C-82-056 submitted by Twentymile Coal Company for the <br />Foidel Creek Mine. <br />The Foidel Creek Mine is an existing underground coal mine located <br />approximately 15 miles southwest of Steamboat Springs in Routt County, <br />Colorado, adjacent to Routt County Road No. 27 in the Twentymile Park area. <br />The application proposes significant expansion of underground mining <br />operations. <br />This proposed approval decision is based on a finding that the proposed <br />operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado Surface Mining <br />Reclamation Act, CRS 1973, 34-33-101 et seq., and the regulations promulgated <br />thereunder. <br />Copies of the proposed decision including stipulations, are available for <br />public review in the office of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division, <br />423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any <br />person with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed <br />decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />on the proposed decision. Such request must be received by the Division by <br />December 8, 1986, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable <br />specificity the objections to the proposed decision. <br />/iml <br />5039E <br />
