All review and comment periods as <br />provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of filing. <br />The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co. proposes to continue Surface coal mining and/or reclamation operations on land <br />located approximately 5 miles Northwest of Oak Creek, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: <br />TSN, R85 W, Portions of Sections 31, 32 <br />TSN, R86W, Portions of Section 36 <br />T4N, R86W, Portions of Sections 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, 25 <br />T4N, R85 W, Portions of Sections 7, 8, 17, 18, 19, 29, 30 <br />The above-mentioned trace of {and are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Cow Creek, and Rattlesnake Butte. <br />This application is for renewal of a valid existing permit. <br />A copy of the renewal application is available for public inspection a[ the Routt County Clerk and Recorder, P.O. Box 773598, <br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office.
