Lune <br />Division Dveuur <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on <br />October 14, 1992, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct <br />coal mining operations, File No. C-81-O11 (TR-04), by Sunland Mining <br />Corporation, 653 South Hebron Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714, was deemed <br />complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as <br />provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this <br />day of filing. <br />The Apex No. 2 Mine is a ccal mine operated by Sunland Mining Corporation. <br />The mine is located in Sections 21 and 22, T4N, R86W, Routt County. The mine <br />proposes to backfill the portal bench to a 2:1 slope as opposed to a l:l slope <br />that was previously approved. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS ?.5 minute Quadrangle maF <br />of Rattlesnake Butte. A copy of the technical revision application is <br />available for public inspection at the Routt County Courthouse, Box 773598, <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
