Box 187 <br />Craig, Colorado 81626 <br />Re: TRAPPER MINE Gravel Pit Conversion - File No. M-84-168 <br />Dear Mr. Humphries: <br />I have reviewed this conversion application and have the following questions <br />and comments that must be addressed in detail at least 10 days prior to the <br />December 18-19, 1985 meeting of the Mined Land Reclamation Board: <br />A. Application Form <br />1. I have enclosed a 112 Regular Permit application Form which needs <br />to be completely filled out and signed on the reverse. Please provide <br />1 original and 3 copies within 2 weeks of this letter if possible. <br />B. Exhibit D -Mining Plan <br />"~ 1. Has the operator evaluated the affect that dewatering wii-1 have (if <br />u p ,r.~ any) on the adjacent cottonwood trees? Please describe the cone of <br />depression resulting from this dewatering operation to demonstrate the <br />`3 extent of potential off site effects. <br />C. Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan <br />1. For clarification, all slopes around the lake can be no steeper <br />than 3:1 (horizontal: vertical) from 5 feet above to 10 feet below the <br />expected water line. (Rule 6.1) <br />D. Exhibit G - Water Information <br />1. Please provide the NPDES permit number which regulates the water <br />discharge from this permit. C p~ S or'n ~ Z <br />E. Exhibit L - Reclamation Costs <br />1.
