In your letter of September 8,
1993 to myself you had presented your understanding of the
proposal, and you did capsulate the proposal accurately except for
the shrub seeding. It was CYCC's intent to purchase shrub seeds
for some of the public lands burned in northwest Colorado during
the 1993 fires. CYCC did not propose to purchase shrub seed for
all the public lands burned in northwest Colorado during the 1993
fires. CYCC would provide shrub seed to the BLM, specifically
antelope bitterbrush as desired by the BLM, to plant in the burned
area. The acreage proposed in permit revision number 3 would
define the number of acres that CYCC would provide seed for to the
BLM. This proposal, along with the other proposals of donating or
providing the "tree beaver" for use to the DOW on lands they would
target for habitat improvement area still on the table and would be
completed by CYCC after final regulatory approval is obtained.
I'll look
September
proposals.
forward to meeting with DOW and DOMG representatives on
23 to further discuss both CYCC's and the DOW's
If there are questions, please give me a call.
Sincerely,
Richard Mills
Supervisor, Environmental Affairs
_,
file:wp51\permits\pr3mit.cyc
