Dudash - 2 - February 27, 2003 <br />topsoil, 32,000 is fill for the portal bench and the remaining 106,000 cubic yards will be <br />placed in two separate fills as shown on the drawings. <br />Development of this new mine portal will involve approximately 9.0 acres of new <br />disturbance and a re-disturbance of approximately 5.4 acres of lands previously disturbed <br />by mining and other de~,elopment. The production from this new mine portal will replace <br />the current production from the "D" Seam portals and will not represent an expansion. <br />Coal will initially be hauled from the B-Seam portal bench up to the D-Seam portal bench <br />for processing. Within approximately 2 years, some additional permitting and construction <br />activities concerning the coal handling facilities are required. <br />Ponds B and C and their respective ditches and culverts were reviewed and redesigned as <br />necessary to accommodate the new portal bench and two stockpile areas. <br />Right of Entry <br />BRL owns all of the land to be disturbed by this permit action. <br />Permit and Affected Area <br />The permit area does not change as a result of the action. Follov~ing is a summary of the <br />changes to the disturbed and affected areas since permit revision no. 6.
