The sites for which the bond release is <br />being requested are the North Thompson Creek mine site and the unit <br />train loadout. The mine site is located in Pitkin Couty in <br />MINREC, Inc. has requested that the Division reduce the bond from <br />$393,000 to $115,000 based on vegetation studies conducted during <br />1991 and 1992 which proposes that the vegetation established on <br />site is adequate to control erosion and prevent excess sediment <br />loading to North Thompson Creek. <br />The Division is required to <br />pursuant to Rule 3.03.2(2).
