Long <br /> Divivnn Drtecmr <br />Re: Red Canyon Mines (Permit No. C-81-034) <br />Permit Approval <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 3 <br />Dear Delta County Commissioners: <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to approve with <br />conditions a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by <br />MINREC, Inc. on October 29, 1997, for the Red Canyon Mines. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing <br />before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of this notice by the Division in <br />[he Deltn County Independent. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 5 miles northwest of Cedaredge, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 2, 1 I, 12, 13, and 14, T13S, R95W, 6th PM, all in Delta County. <br />Copies of the renewal application aze available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Delta County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
