Please add to the submission a revised Drawing 20 and other revised portions of the <br />Permit Application Package (PAP) generated by the proposed revisions to postmining <br />Topography. <br />Item 3. Another issue is a demonstration of volume calculations (past and current) that support <br />the proposal to revise the approved postmining topography. Please provide a general <br />recapitulation of your volume calculafions, and any adjustments to swell factors, as they <br />relate to specific proposed adjustments in the planned postmining topography. <br />Item 4. Schedules for reclamation activities were discussed during the meeting on July 24, 2002, <br />some of which would be relief from, or variance to, requirements for contemporaneous <br />reclamation. Please clearly describe schedules to accomplish delayed reclamation in any or <br />various portions of the disturbed areas in revised pages to the PAP. <br />Item 5. Revised postmining topography would also change the way spoil is handled, and may <br />have an impact on the bonding scenazio. Please provide revised reclamation cost estimates <br />(for bonding purposes) as may be incurred due to changes in mining and reclamation <br />(revised pages to the PAP). <br />Item 6. Another concern is the time limitations on phases of this technical revision.
