' Notice is hereby given that an application for Phase II Bond Release of mining permit number C-
81-026 for Slurco Corporation's Canadian Strip Mine in Jackson County, Colorado has been filed with the
Division of Minerals and Geology of the Colorado Departrnent of Natural Resources. All disturbed areas
at the mine site were reclaimed m 1987. Slurco Corporation is the applicant and its business address is
P.O. Box 281304, Lakewood, Colorado 80228.
' The mine site is located 12 miles east of Walden. The legal description of the property includes:
T.8N, R.78W, 6th P.M.
' Section 10: SE S6 NE'k NE'k. Contains 10 acres
Section 11: W'h NW'k. Contains 80 acres
Section 2: Beginning at the point 1225 feet N 89°47'21" E from the NW corner of the SW 'k,
' Section 2, thence N 89°47'21" E, 700 feet, thence S 00°12'39" E, 1500 feet, thence Southwest
to a point on the South section line which is 1530 feet S 89°38'00" E of the SW corner of the said
SW'k, thence N 89°38'00" W, 1530 feet to the SW comer of said SW'k, thence N 00°01'03" W,
' 300 feet, thence N 40°44'00" E, 1250 feet, thence NE to the point of begirmirtg. Contains 65
acres.
' All lands listed in this notice may be located on the USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle named Johnny
Moore. Slurco is requesting Phase III release on 81 acres of disturbed land totaling $100,606.00.
