Box 487, Walden, Colorado 80480, was deemed complete for the <br />'purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations <br />promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting reclamation operations on lands located in the <br />following sections: <br />Mine Area: Township 8 North, Ranae 78 West <br />Section 2 <br />Township 9 North, Ranpe 78 West <br />Sections 15, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27 and 35 <br />Loadout Area: Township 9 North. Range 79 West <br />Sections 28 and 29 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Johnny <br />Moore Mountain, Gould NW, Walden and Eagle Hill. <br />In order for us to approve this renewal application, we are required to affirm that the original <br />finding that "the activities would not affect the continued existence of endangered or threatened <br />species or result in the destruction or adverse modification of their critical habitats as determined <br />under the Endangered Species Act of 1973..." remains valid. We request your review and <br />recommendation pursuant to this finding, as well as your evaluation of the continued validity of <br />the projections and assumptions of the mining and reclamation plan which relate to federally <br />protected wildlife species. Applicable sections of the permit application are enclosed. Please <br />advise us if you require additional information. <br />
