Waldron <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />215 Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />RE: Bond Release Request for Craig Town <br />Permit C-81-044 <br />Dear Mr. Waldron: <br /> <br />OCT g jggg <br />MIND LAND <br />P.~^~ A~"AT!ON DIVISION <br />Loadout <br />Cyprus Empire Corporation (CEC) is requesting release of <br />performance bond (Phases I, II, III) for reclamation activities <br />conducted on approximately 20 acres at the Craig Town Loadout. <br />Reclamation on the site was completed between August and October, <br />1987, in accordance with the approved plan described in exhibit 23 <br />of the permit. The post-mining land use approved for the area is <br />an industrial site. <br />CEC currently has a total bond of $3,178,400.00. As shown in <br />exhibit 25 of the permit, $15,392.00 is attributed to the Craig <br />Town Loadout. <br />Enclosed are copies of the required notifications that have been <br />sent to adjoining property owners, surface owners and appropriate <br />local government bodies. <br />Also enclosed is the proposed public notice which CEC will place <br />in the local newspaper pursuant to the requirements of Rule <br />3.03.2(1)(b) upon approval of CMLRD.
