Cottony <br />Colorado Springs, CO 80904 Division Director <br />/ / oral Resource Trustee <br />Re: Ranch Land Rock Pit #2, Amendment Approval, Permit No. M-2003-021, Revision No. AM-1 <br />Dear Mr. Peetz: <br />On August 20, 2004 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Amendment application submitted to the <br />Division on June 18, 2004, addressing the following: Increasing the pernvt area to 930 acres and revising the direction of <br />phased operations. <br />The terms of the Amendment No. 1 approved by the Division aze hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-2003-021. Al] <br />other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-2003-021 remain in full force and effect. <br />The estimated liability amount of $16,750.00 for the Ranch Land Rock Pit #2, when added to the existing liability <br />amount of $67,000.00, exceeds the performance bond held. If you have not already done so, please submit additional <br />bond in the amount of $16,750.00.
