Box 234
Crested Butte, Colorado 81224
RE: Mountain View Pit, Revision Approval, Permit No. M-81-002
Dear Mr. or Mrs. Eccher:
On December 18, 1989 the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
automatically approved the Technical Revision application submitted to the
Division on November 17, 1989, addressing the proposal to allow 60°to 70°
slopes in final reclamation of the site (it is apparent that the limitation to
60~ to 70~ slopes was a result of an apparent toooaraohical error in
information submitted by the SCS, and not indicative of the understanding of
the parties at the time the permit was issued). The terms of the TR No. 02
approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-81-002.
All other conditions and reouirements of said permit remain in full force and
effect.
Please be aware that approval of this technical revision does not release rou
from responsibility to implement an alternative reclamation plan if the slopes
created following your primary reclamation plan prove to be unstable.
If w u have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
,~ ;~
chael J.
