Long <br />212 W 13th Street Division Director <br />Pueblo, CO 81003 <br />RE: Florence Sand & Gravel Pit, Conversion Approval, Permit No. M-92.051, Revision <br />No. CN-1 <br />Deaz Mr. Barnhart: <br />On May 19, I997 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Conversion application <br />submitted to the Division on February 3, 1997, addressing the following: <br />Convert limited impact 110(2) permits M-81-036 and M-92-051 to a regular 112c permit of 77.44 <br />acres with 34.7 affected acres. <br />The terms of the Conversion No. 1 approved by the Division aze hereby incorporated into Permit <br />No. M-92-051. <br />The conditions of the Division approval are noted below. Please note that all other provisions <br />of Permit No. M-92-051 as converted remain in full force and effect. <br />Commitment No. Description <br />1. Florence Sand and Gravel will commit to preparing a replacement <br />reclamation plan map showing final topography of the reclaimed <br />mine site (see Rule 6.4.6(a)) and will submit an interim drainage <br />plan that shows how runoff from disturbed azeas, piled material and <br />operation surfaces will be managed to protect against pollution of <br />either surface or groundwater (and, where applicable, control <br />pollution in a manner that is consistent with its water quality <br />discharge permit), both during and after the operation (see Rule <br />6.4.7(2)(c)). These two (2) items will be submitted to the Division <br />within 90 days of the approval letter for this conversion <br />application- <br />
