All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />Golden Eagle Mine. The technical revision modifies the 3rd North Road <br />drainage designs, with the installation of an additional culvert and transfer <br />of the road ditch location from the east side of the road to the west side of <br />the road, below the culvert. <br />The Golden Eagle permit area is located approximately 20 miles west of <br />Trinidad, Colorado, in the following sections: <br />Sections 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 of Township 33 <br />South, Range 67 West; projected Sections 27, 28, 29, 30, <br />31, 32, 33 and 34 of Township 33 South, Range 67 West; <br />and projected Sections 3 and 4 of Township 34 South, <br />Range 67 West. <br />Projected sections are partially or fully projected by <br />Basin Resources due to the unsurveyed nature of the <br />Maxwell Land Grant. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />maps of Vigil, Weston, Tercio and Little Pine Canyon. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Las Animas County Courthouse, 200 East First Street, <br />Room 104, Trinidad, Colorado.
