Permit C-81-013 <br />was issued by the Division on July 26, 2000. <br />The Golden Eagle Ivtine is located in Sections 20, 21, 28 & 29, T33S. R67W. A total of 59 acres of <br />surface disturbance from mining is covered by a Coal Reclamation Band in the amount of $177,035. The <br />perrnittee is applying for and Diviston guidelines allow for the release of up to 85°/a of the total bond <br />amount in a Phase Q Bond release. <br />The Golden Eagle Mine ceased production on December 3l, 1995. Phase I bond release (removal of <br />structtues and final grading) was approved on March 13, 1998. Tn accordance with the approved <br />reclamation plan and as required for Phase R bond release, a vegetation assessment of the reclamation <br />areas was completed in July of 2000 during the third growing season. <br />Any written comments. obJections or requests for a public hearing or informal conference regarding this <br />bond release application must be submined to the Division of Minerals and Geology. 1313 Sherman Street <br />Room 21~.
