The revision was submitted by Seneca <br />Coal Company. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date <br />of Fling. <br />The revision presents [he final reclamation topsoil management plan for [he Seneca II Mine. The topsoil managlnent <br />plan addresses [he topsoil defeci[ for 497 acres of disturbed land. <br />The surface coo] mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles southeast of Hayden. The permit area <br />is further described as follows: <br />TSN, R87W; All of Sections 1, 2 and 12; Portions of Sections 3, I l and 13 <br />T6N, R87W; Portions of Sections 27, 34, 35 and 36 <br />TSN, R86W; Portions of Sections 6 and 7. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Milner. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Rout County Courthouse, Box <br />773598, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and a[ the Division office. For additional information or to provide written <br />comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments <br />be submitted within fifteen (15) days of [his letter.
