Gattany <br />Acting Division Director <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to approve a renewal application for coat mining and <br />reclamation permit. The application was submitted by National King Coal, LLC on February 19, 2002 for the <br />King Coal Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Boazd for Coal Mining, we aze providing notice of this proposed decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a foanal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the fast publication of the public notice by <br />the Division in The Durango Herald. <br />The lmdergound mine is located approximately 7 miles southwest of Hesperus, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />All or Portions of Sections 28, 29, 31, 32, T35N, R11W, NMPM; Portions of Sections 5 and 6, T34N, R11W; <br />Portions of Sections 36, T35N, R12W. <br />Copies of the renewal application aze available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the La Plata County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
