The submittal was deemed complete for <br />the purposes of filing on August 23, 1996; however, we have the following adequacy issues. <br />Please provide a response as soon as possible so that we may proceed with approval of this <br />revision. <br />1) Please verify that all concrete foundation materials will be checked for hazardous <br />contamination prior to demolition, and that any materials found to be contaminated with <br />hydraulic fluids, solvents or other materials will be disposed of at a proper offsite facility. <br />2) Please verify that if foundation materials are found to be free from contamination problems, <br />and if onsite burial is chosen, then the materials will be rubblized prior to burial. Please <br />also specify the location for burial and the methods which will be used to ensure stability of <br />any backfill material used to cover the broken concrete. <br />3) How will the existing filtration field and septic systems be decommissioned and removed? <br />4) Please verify that areas beneath [he buildings to be demolished will be tested for <br />contamination from such materials as hydraulic fluids, oils, solvents, antifreeze, etc. prior <br />to fmal burial.
