•
'~ Page two
August 5, 1987

I've enclosed the bond calculations for the dismantling and disposal of
the materials. The substation itself will be the "portable" type and thus
will be easily transported by a truck and trailer. The concrete material
will be broken up and transported to an appropriate disposal site. Also, as
reflected by the bond calculations, the tanks will be utilized again.
As the total cost of the dismantling and removal of the materials
associated with the tipple operations is sma71 ($1050.00) relative to the
currently posted bond, CYCC feels additional bond money is not warranted.
The existing transformer next to County Road 27 will be removed and
refurbished. The remaining equipment is part of a switching station owned
and operated by Yampa Valley Electric Association and thus we have no
liabilities associated with the station.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please
feel free to call.
Sincerely,
Claire Semmer
Environmental Specialist
CES/de
Attachments
