Cattany <br />Denver, CO 80222-1530 Division Director <br /> Natu21 Resource Trustee <br />Re: Blue Ribbon Mine (Permit No. C-1981-047) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 14 (TR-14) <br />Amended Identification of Interests and Clarify Reclamation Plan <br />Dear Ms. Nachtrieb: <br />The Division of Minemis and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, <br />of [he Colorado Revised Statutes, that on July 2Q 2005, an application to revise coal mining opern[ions a[ [he Blue Ribbon <br />Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by M[NREC, Inc.. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from [his date of filing. <br />MINREC has submitted a revision to update portions of their permit application package, including identification of interests, <br />reclamation plan, coal status map, and surface ownership map. This revision involves no additional surface disturbance. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 8 miles northeast of Paonia, Colorado. The permit <br />area is further described as follows: <br />Portions of Section 2, Township 13 South, Range 91 West; and portions of Section 35, Township 12 South, Range 91 West of <br />the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Bowie <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Delta County Clerk and <br />Recorder, 501 Palmer, Delta, CO 81416, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide written comments, <br />contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Sireet, Denver, Colomdo 80203, (303) 866-3567. In <br />order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted within fifteen (IS) days of this <br />letter.
