The
concerns we would like to bring to the attention of the board are the following:
How does Otero County propose to control dust and drilling dust onto adjacent lands, or
protect the rangeland vegetation on the surrounding land from damage caused by excess
dust'?
Will there be any set-asides required to protect adjacent property, if so what will be
required for set asides, and how will this be enforced?
Will there be any safeguards or inspections for containing pollution of any type, which
may drift onto adjacent land? If so what is planned and how will it be implemented.
Will the area of the pit be professionally surveyed to protect adjacent property?
W'iil hearings be required and notice given to adjacent property owner il'the size of this'
operation will he increased beyond the original permit? ~~'
These are the primary concerns we would like answers to.
Sincerely,
14~illiam :ash~B ty Cash
~ ~~'~
ICN "- ~N
~,~ ~~ ~~
~~
