<br />Dear Sir or Madam:
<br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division proposes to grant a reduction in
<br />the performance bond for Western Fuels-Utah, Incorporated's Deserado Mine.
<br />Western Fuels-Utah has requested a reduction in liability from 36,719,725 to
<br />55,260,628. The reduction in liability reflects adjustments made for updatzd
<br />reclamation costs, as well as for the elimination of night shifts in
<br />reclamation work, thereby increasing equipment efficiency.
<br />The Deserado Mine is located in Rio Blanco County, approximately ten mi]es
<br />east of Rangely. The legal description of the land is as follows:
