Cottony <br />Denver, CO 80222-1530 Division Director <br /> Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Yoast Mine (Permit No. C-1994-082) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 26 (TR-26) <br />As-Built Report and Documents for Pond 013 <br />Deaz Ms. Nachtrieb: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, <br />of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on October 7, 2004, an application to revise coal mining operations at the Yoast Mine <br />was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Seneca Coal Company. All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This technical revision provides As-Built documentafion for sedimentation Pond 013. <br />The Surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />T6N, R87 W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 <br />TSN, R87 W, All of Section 17; Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, l8, 19, 20, 29, 30 <br />Mt. Harris & Dunckley <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Mount Harris and Dunckley <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Routt County <br />Courthouse, P.O. Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office. For additional information or to <br />provide written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Shemlan Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be <br />submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
