QUITCLAIM DEED FOR WATER RIGHTS
Snowmass Coal Company, a Colorado general partnership,
whose address is 743 Horizon Court, Suite 205, Grand
Junction, Colorado 81506, for and in consideration of Ten
Dollars ($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration,
hereby sells and quitclaims to Minrec, Inc., a Colorado
corporation, whose address is 773 Valley Court, Grand Junction,
Colorado 81505, the following described water rights, to-wit:
Groundwater rights located in the County of Pitkin, State
of Colorado, described as follows:
(1) The Anschutz Mine No. 1, the point of diversion of
which is located at a point 792 feet North and 635
feet West of the Southwest Corner of the Nw/9 of
Section 35, Township 8 South, Range 89 West, 6th
P.M., adjudicated in the District Court in and for
Water Division No. 5, State of Colorado, in Case No.
W-2979;
(2) The Anschutz Mine No. 3, the point of diversion of
which is located at a point 1,954 feet South and~915
feet East of the Northwest Corner of the NE/9 of
Section 39, Township 8 South, Range 89 West, 6th
P.M., adjudicated in the District Court in and for
Water Division No. 5, State of Colorado, in Civil
Action No. W-2980;
Surface water rights located in the County of Garfield,
State of Colorado, described as follows:
(1) An undivided one-tenth (0.10) of a cubic foot of
water per second of time decreed to the Crane and
Pebbles Ditch, .which Ditch bears Priority No. 113
caa, Adjudication Date of April 6, 1909,
Appropriation Date of April 1, 1885, for a total of
6.4 cubic feet of water per second of time;
with all appurtenances thereto.
Executed as of the 7th day of February, 1990.
