Also verify that all such materials <br />will be properly cleaned from the surface site and disposed of properly. <br />6. Please provide the details of the required sediment control plan to be implemented <br />prior to, during and after the shaft closure project activities. <br />7. The application lacks detail regazding the final backfilling, grading and <br />achievement of approximate original contour at the shaft site. In accordance with <br />Rule 2.05.4(2)(c), please provide a plan for backfilling, soil stabilization, and <br />grading. Include appropriate postmining contour maps and cross sections that <br />represent the fmal surface configuration at the reclaimed shaft site. <br />8. Provide a detailed description and plan for access to the shaft site. Provide <br />specific details of any needed road, ramp or other site access construction and <br />reclamation requirements. Include maps, figures and cross sections as appropriate. <br />9. Please specify all topsoil salvage and replacement, and revegetation plans. <br />Include topsoil salvage and replacement quantities and specific seed mix and <br />application rate plans for the disturbed azea including the immediate shaft site and <br />any access azeas. <br />10. A reclamation bond must be submitted to address the closure of the vent shaft. It <br />is likely that the current bond is not adequate to fully cover the shaft closure as <br />proposed along with any surface disturbance. Provide a bond estimate calculation <br />for the proposed activity including the down hole and surface work. <br />Please provide an adequate response as soon as possible so that we may issue a final <br />decision by March 2, 2004. <br />Please call with any questions. <br />vrsor <br />
