Long <br />Montrose, CO 81402 Dir~tion Dveclor <br />Re: Receipt of 110(c) to l12(c) Construction Materials Reclamation Permit Conversion <br />Application, Cedar Creek Pit, Permit No. M-77-407, CN-1 <br />Dear Mr. Roberts: <br />On September 16, 1997, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 110 to 112 (~onsttvction <br />Materials Reclamation Permit Conversion application for the Cedar Creek Pit, which is located in <br />Montrose County. All comment and review periods began on September 16, ] 997. The decision date <br />for your application is scheduled for December 15, 1997. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in <br />the loclity of the proposed mining operation once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks. ]immediately <br />after the first publication, mail a copy of the notice to all owners of record of surface rights and all <br />owners of record of lands that are within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land. Proof of notice <br />and mailings, such as Certified Mail -Return Receipt Requested, must be submitted to the Division <br />of Minerals and Geology prior to the decision date. Additionally, any changes or additions to the <br />application on file in our office must also be reflected in the public review copy which has been placed <br />with the Montrose County Clerk and Recorder. <br />The Division is reviewing your application to determine whether it is adequate to meet the <br />requirements of the Act.
