Type/Sequence• TR-41 Natural Resource Trustee
Doc. Name: Memo -Summary of Adequacy Review
From: Tom Kaldenbach
I have reviewed the above-referenced submittal. The submittal is technically adequate
based on the following three reasons.
Compliance with Pond Removal Requirements, Section 4.05.2(2) - As
explained in the attached Pond Removal Checklist, the operator's submittal for
this Technical Revision adequately documents the ponds are no longer needed for
sediment control and their removal will not result in a violation of the instream
standazds in Oak Creek.
2. Comment Period Expiration -The comment period has expired with no
comments received.
3. Reclamation Cost Estimate - The work proposed in this Technical Revision
involves reclaiming the Tipple ponds. The work involves no new land
disturbance and construction of no new structures; therefore, no change is
necessary in the reclamation cost estimate and the existing bond is adequate.
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Agive and Inactive Mines Geological Survey
