May, P.E., Project Engineer <br />Quarterly Inspection, January 7, 1995 <br />>ab~5 >} <br />9 1s ~.~: <br />Ponds: The east and west sedimentation ponds appear in good condition, however snow <br />coves prohibits thorough examination. Photograph ~I shows [ile West Pond from the area of <br />the inlet channel. The condition of the spillway and low flow outlet have not changed from <br />previous inspections. See Mazch report for recommendations. <br />The East Pond is seen in photo it2. <br />Drainage Ditches: A portion of the east side drainage channel is shown in photo N3. Again, <br />snow cover prohibits thorough examination, but no serious problems exist. All other drainage <br />channels appear to be working properly. Except for the West Pond outlets cited above all <br />drainage features have been constructed and aze operating as stated in the drainage plan <br />submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />Coal Waste Pile: Photograph M4 shows the coal waste pile. There aze no signs of structural <br />instability on the waste pile.
