No.: <br />Inspection Period: <br />Inspection Date: <br />Pond #10A-Loadout <br />1ST Quarter 2005 <br />3/28/05 <br />General Description or Reference to Site Plan: <br />This pond is located east of the coal loadout facility and south of the railroad tracks <br />The pond is partially incised into alluvium and the embankment keyed into the <br />subsurtace strata. Side sopes are less than 2H:1 V. The pond discharges into Lorencito <br />Canyon Creek. <br />EMBANKMENT <br />1). Adequacy of the vegetative cover: <br />2). Erosion forming Gullies: <br />3). Is wave action causing erosion: <br />On the Upstream embankment? <br />At the principal spillway inlet? <br />Yes <br />Yes <br />4). Erosion of the downstream toe of the embankment?
