Canany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division has reviewed Trapper Mining Inc.'s Third Quarter 2007 Sediment Pond Inspection reports. <br />Trapper Mining Inc.'s third quarter 2007 sediment pond reports were received by the Division on October <br />11, 2007. Timely submittal of these reports is in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond <br />inspections were conducted by TMI on September 25t ,September 27th, and September 28th, 2007. <br />Three ponds were reported dischazging at the NPDES point at the time they were inspected. These ponds <br />include Middle Flume No. 3 Pond, East Pyeatt No. 3, and East Middle Flume No. 1. Maintenance <br />identified during the quarterly inspection were primarily for resetting of sediment markers or installation of <br />identification signs. Oak Gulch Pond No. 1, and East Pyeatt No. 1 require sediment cleanout from the <br />pond. TMI reports that sediment cleaning is scheduled for October 2007. The Mine had experienced <br />heavy rain storms during the month f September.
