Carla Lenkey <br />WQCD-PE-B2 <br />4300 Cherry Creek Drive South <br />Denver, CO 80222-1530 <br />RE: WET Test Failure at Discharge Point 008, Permit No. CO-0000221 <br />Dear Ms_ Lenkey, <br />In a letter dated August 27, 1998, I notified you of a WET test <br />failure for Point 008 on samples collected August 5-10. <br />Accelerated tests were performed on split samples by two separate <br />labs on samples collected August 26-31 and September 9-14. All <br />tests performed passed, therefore, the incident is now closed. WET <br />reporting forms for the original failure and subsequent passes have <br />been attached. From reviewing these data, I suspect that the <br />original failure may have been due to lab error.
