<br />Page 2 <br />Permit No. COG-500000 <br />CDPS GENERAL PERMIT <br />FOR SAND AND GRAVEL DINING AND PROCESSING <br />(AND OTHER NONMETALLIC MINERALS EXCEPT FUEL) <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISCHARGE PERMIT SYSTEM <br />In compliance with the provisions of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act, (25-8-101 et seq., CRS, <br />1973 as amended) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.; the <br />"Act"), this permit authorizes the discharge of process water and stormwater associated ~+vith operations <br />engaged in mining and processing of sand and gravel (including rock and stone used as a.ggregate), and <br />mining and quanrying of other nonmetallic minerals except fuels, certified under this pennit, from those <br />locations specified throughout the State of Colorado to specified waters of the State. Suc:h dischazges <br />shall be in accordance with the conditions of this permit. <br />This permit specifically authorizes the facility listed on page 1 of this permit to discharge: process water <br />and/or stormwater associated with operations engaged in mining and processing of sand ~tnd gravel <br />(including rock and stone used as aggregate), and mining and quarrying of other nonmettllic minerals <br />except fuels, as of this date, in accordance with the permit requirements and conditions set forth in Parts <br />I and II hereof.
