Cattany <br />Division Direcor <br />Natual Resource Trustee <br />The Division has reviewed Trapper Mining Inc.'s Fourth Quarter 2006 Sediment Pond Inspection reports. <br />Trapper Mining Inc.'s fourth quarter 2006 sediment pond reports were received by the Division on January <br />3, 2007. Timely submittal of these reports is in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond <br />inspections were conducted by TMI on November 8 and 11, 2006, and December 26 and 27, 2006. <br />Ponds were dry, snow covered or frozen. TMI noted which ponds need maintenance. Maintenance items <br />are limited to replacement of identification signs or sediment markers. These maintenance items do not <br />affect the operation of the ponds. <br />Only two ponds, Middle Flume No. 3, and Johnson No. lOR were reported to be discharging at the NPDES <br />point at the time of inspection. The discharge was reported as a trickle or less than 5 gpm.
