Fitst <br />quarter 2004 sediment pond inspections were conducted on Mazch 23, 2004. Most of the ponds were dty with <br />the exception of 9A-Pl, 9-P2, 9-P3, HR-PIA, and SA-Pl. Ponds holding water were all well below the discharge <br />level. None of the ponds were reportedly discharging at the time of the inspection. <br />Second quarter 2004 sediment pond inspection reports were received by DMG on December 16, 2004. Second <br />quarter 2004 sediment pond inspections were conducted on May 21, 2004. Ponds were dry except for 9-P2 and <br />9-P3. No problems were identified with the ponds during the quarterly inspection. None of the ponds were <br />dischazging at the time of the inspection. <br />Copies of the quarterly reports need to be maintained at the mine office and at the Division's office as per Rule <br />4.05.9(1'7).
