Nitrogen gas was injected down the 1.9" diameter steel tubing until a water flow was observed at
the surface. The purge produced 72 gallons or 100 feet of cased and open hole volume.
A second similar nitrogen purge procedure produced 67 gallons or 90 feet of the casing and open
hole volume.
Nitrogen injection down the'/: inch pvc inside the 1.9" diameter steel tubing extracted a sample
from just above the 52' of open hole. This produced about 10 gallons of gorged water. A similaz
second 10 gallon event was sampled. The depth from TD sample point is Sg'. In total, nitrogen
purging produced 215 feet of borehole vohmte or 3.7 times the volume of water below the sample
point.
A slight orgauic smell was noted during the second major purge event.
MWD-1 and MWD-2
These wells were not purged or sampled.
Please call me with any questions of comments.
Sincere~~ ~ ~~~~
Roger Day "~~ii00~~
Vice President, Operations
Cc J Daub
J Clark
