Roger Day, Amold
Markley and George Scatrow purged the wells. Gerry Daub collected the samples.
MWA-2
An Izuzu SS hp compressor was connected to the 1.9" steel tubing wilt end point depth at 475
feet at 11:14 am. A 68" dia, by 24" tall stock tank was used to measure well discharged water.
The calculated tank volume was 16 gallons per inch. The initial well flow rate filled the tank in 5
minutes or 77gpm. (24"' 16g/ft=384 gallons in 5 minutes) The compressor was shut down at
5:35 pm after 6.35 hour of continuous well pumping. Just prior to shutdown, the flow rate
measured 3S gpm. (15.3 inches'16gaUinch=245ga1 in 7.1 minutes)
Initial pre-pumping wire-line depth to water from top of the wellhead nut, was measured at 187.8
feet. During final flow rate test, the 1/2" pvc pipe static gas pressure was 210 psi or 485 feet of
submergence in water. The pvc pipe is set to a depth of 818 feet. The depth to water at the end
of the pump test was 333 feet. (818'- 485') The draw down was 145 feet (333-187.9)
Assuming a S6 gpm ((77+35y2) average discharge rate, the 6.25 hour pump test produced 21,000
gallons. The capacity of 7 5!8" casing is 2 gaUft. There is 1,S 16 gallons contained in the 758 feet
of cased hole below the water level. The 250-foot open hole below the casing contains about
