The pond <br />was inspected by the Division on March 17, 1998 (a routine inspection). On that date, the <br />inspection record is that Prospect Pond was inspected, along with all other ponds at the mine site; <br />and that of those, Gulch A Pond (NPDES discharge point 004) had "muddy inflow from snow <br />melt, and clear but slightly stained dischazge". No direct or specific information on water levels <br />in, or dischazges from, Prospect Pond (NPDES 007) were recorded. <br />
