The wells that should be studied
to insure that no damage occurs include those belonging to Charles
Ramey, Friz Bartley, Mr. Wenzel and Orville 6 Rodney Sadar.
V ernon Peppier In order to abandon the Clough and True Ditch through the
Director at Large Gregory property and place the flows of the Clough and True Ditch
ErecutiveDirector into the Clough Private for delivery to Mr. Ramey, approval of owners
James A.C~nea of water rights on these two ditches must be obtained. It appears
that Mr. Ramey is the only user [hat nust be considered on [he Clough
Legal Corr ns?I
David J.Miller&ASSOEl sTrue Ditch. The Clough Private Ditch is utilized by Mr. Bartley
David J. Miller an possibly Mr. Wenzel. There are three other owners of Clough
Private water who have not used these rights over the past several
Consulrrng Engineer years. In addition to obtaining apnroval from the owners aid users
Rocky Mountain of these rights, according to the lJater Commissioner the size of the
Consultants,lnr:.
Rohert C. Brand CIOU h Private Ditch is ade uate to cart calls of the Clou~ h Private
g q Y 3
and Clough and True combined. Other ditches in the area which may be
affected by the operation include the South Branch, the Webster
McCaslin Ditch (diverts from the South Branch and crosses N~~rth 61st
Street in an open channel), the True and Webster Ditch (diverts from
South Branch and utilizes clay tile) and the Carrier Ditch ~~wned by the
Highland Ditch Company which takes water from Foothills Reservoir into
the South Branch ar under the South Branch to the St. Vrain. Flumes to
monitor the flows of the Webster McCaslin Ditch, the True b Webster
Ditch and the South Branch should be placed in each ditch n=ar North
61st Street so that they can be easily checked. With respect to the
Lard er Ditch awned by Highland Ditch Company., the Board of Directors
of the Highland Ditch Company discussed this matter at a meeting held
on October 20, 1980. They agreed that no action would be taken until
-.- ._~h .
