Please remember that this is a draft proposal that <br />you can use to determine how and if funding can be developed for <br />the critical subject of cottonwood survival following changes in <br />the ground water table created by sand mining. <br />The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service can most likely provide funds <br />for approximately 1/3 of this proposal if the remainder of the <br />funds can be granted by one or more agency or entity. <br />We look forward to talking with you further about the <br />opportunities for conducting this research. <br />SincerelYy~ <br />`1~/ <br />David J.
