It
operated by Varra Companies, Inc.
The water plan proposes use of shazes of the Greeley Irrigation Company, Rural Ditch
Company; credit for native vegetation, and storage in a lined facility located in the St. Vrain
Creek basin.
The lined facility is currently undergoing a liner test. I am told that this test should be
complete in the first part of June. Appazently, the data indicate that the .lining is perfomling
within the state's guidelines.
The plan assumes that Rural Ditch water controlled by Varra is stored in the lined facility
starting in June. If this occurs, there is water to supply the Durham Project's requirements plus
the other Varra obligations detailed in the report. This assumes that dewatering at the project
stops for the entire yeaz: This occurrence is highly unhlcely.
Also submitted at this time is the well permit application, and the required fees for both
applications.
In my opinion, if the substitute water supply plan is operated as presented in this
application, there will be no injury to the surface water rights in the basin. The ground water
rights will be further addressed in a subsequent submittal
Please let me know if there aze any questions or comments. Thank you for your patience.
nvoice 0 511883
/25/h2003 -- 14:85:85
~34~e80ID: 3
Check PurchasE- A3399
