You have
pointed out that because the drainage from this area is not
diverted to the settling ponds, a small area exemption is needed.
The area in question consists of an area of approximately 0.36
acres. All runoff water from this area will be directed through
the rock filter spillway which has been constructed for this
purpose. A berm is in place to force any drainage from this area
to flow through the rock filter spillway.
In the unlikely event that water should ever flow through this rock
filter spillway, representative samples shall be taken and shall be
checked for settleable solids of less than 0.5 ml/L. However, be
advised, storm events of this magnitude are few and far between.
Don May, P.E., is currently involved in designing all applicable
drainages, etc., for this area. His report will be forthcoming
upon completion.
If you have any questions or comments, please call me at (303) 385-
4606.
Si~ncere-ly-, ~
To
National King Cosl, Inc.
J
"^"~ k_
